While Amazon is a formidable competitor for most retailers, there are significant barriers that make it hard for an online-only retailer to compete with Batteries Plus Bulbs. It’s hard for most online marketplaces to:

  1. Ship products to customers quickly
  2. Help customers identify what they need to purchase to solve their problem
  3. Guide customers to additional solutions
  4. Guarantee the quality of the products they sell
